On Monday, 7 April 2014, at night at 3:31, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 193.55), a DAF XF 95.430 registered in Russia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the DAF (a citizen of Russia) (43 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
