On Sunday, 23 March 2014, at night at 1:48, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 90), an Opel Meriva ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Opel (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
