On Monday, 28 April 2014, in the morning at around 6:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 20), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
