On Saturday, 3 May 2014, in the morning at 10:13, in Kėdainių district municipality, Taujėnų village, on the Šėta–Okainiai–Truskava regional road (kilometre 9.60), a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene.
