On Friday, 16 May 2014, in the evening at 19:13, in Telšių district municipality, on Karaliaus Mindaugo street near No. 41, at the junction with S. Nėries street, an Audi 80 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
