On Tuesday, 27 May 2014, in the morning at around 5:00, in Marijampolės municipality, Kalnynų village, on Beržų street near No. 3, a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
