On Monday, 2 June 2014, in the afternoon at 12:13, in Zarasų district municipality, Užtiltės village, on Melioratorių street near No. 16, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Rover 75 and a Volkswagen Caddy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Rover, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
