On Wednesday, 4 June 2014, in the evening at 19:40, in Prienų district municipality, Kuprių village, on the Lizdeikiai–Kupriai regional road (kilometre 5.60), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Rover 400 and a Nissan Almera Tino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Rover (52 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.38‰ blood alcohol).
