On Friday, 6 June 2014, in the morning at 7:25, in Kauno district municipality, on the Daučioniai–Lazduoniai–Eikščiai regional road (kilometre 7), a Nissan Almera rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Nissan (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
