On Thursday, 19 June 2014, at night at 3:40, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 114.96), a Jeep Commander hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Jeep (a citizen of Germany) (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
