On Wednesday, 11 June 2014, in the afternoon at 15:54, in Panevėžys, on S. Kerbedžio street near No. 20, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and a Volvo XC90. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
