On Sunday, 22 June 2014, at night at 0:20, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Kisiniai–Baičiai–Šniaukštai regional road (kilometre 1.90), a BMW 520D ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
