On Sunday, 22 June 2014, in the morning at 6:17, in Raseinių district municipality, Girkalnio town, on Žemaičių street near No. 13, an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.45‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
