On Sunday, 22 June 2014, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Anykščių district municipality, Pašilių village, on Pašilių street near No. 6, a vehicle hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of a vehicle (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
