On Thursday, 19 June 2014, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, Sudervės eldership, on Kaštonų street, a Volvo 850 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Volvo (40 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
