On Friday, 27 June 2014, in the morning at around 6:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Paliūniškis–Vabalninkas national road (kilometre 7.25), a Mitsubishi Pajero ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
