On Saturday, 28 June 2014, at night at 1:26, in Jurbarko district municipality, Šilinės village, on the Raseiniai–Šilinė national road (kilometre 34.98), a BMW 530 D rolled over. One person was injured — the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He refused a sobriety test. A 26-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (1.77‰). A 30-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (1.60‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
