On Sunday, 29 June 2014, at night at around 23:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Jaunių village, on the Šilutė–Ramučiai–Gardamas regional road (kilometre 14), an Audi 100 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
