On Sunday, 6 July 2014, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Dubysos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Evobus O 530 G, a Toyota RAV4 and a Volkswagen Tiguan. Two people were injured — a 8-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient) and a 4-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Evobus (38 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
