On Friday, 11 July 2014, in the morning at around 10:00, in Druskininkų municipality, on Gardino g. near No. 23, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Citroen Xsara. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
