On Monday, 4 August 2014, in the evening at 17:40, in Šilalės district municipality, Prapymo village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 242), a Toyota RAV4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Toyota (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
