On Sunday, 17 August 2014, in the evening at 20:58, in Kretingos district municipality, Narmantų village, a Mazda 323 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Mazda (37 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.15‰ blood alcohol).
