On Sunday, 17 August 2014, in the evening at 21:38, in Kalvarijos municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 77.83), a BMW 318 rolled over. A 27-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (0.63‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
