On Monday, 18 August 2014, in the evening at 22:30, in Kaunas, on T. Masiulio street near No. 21A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ssang Yong Korando and a Volvo S60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Ssang Yong (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.25‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
