On Saturday, 30 August 2014, in the evening at 20:03, in Vilnius, on Balsių Sodų 5-oji street, a Peugeot 406 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.58‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
