On Tuesday, 2 September 2014, at night at 23:40, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Trakai–Rūdiškės–Pivašiūnai–Alytus national road (kilometre 67), an Isuzu Campo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Isuzu, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
