On Saturday, 30 August 2014, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Joniškio district municipality, Skaistgirio town, on Purienų street near No. 9, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a BMW 525. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
