On Monday, 13 October 2014, in the evening at around 19:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on Lietavos street, at the junction with J. Basanavičiaus street, a Renault Megane hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Renault (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
