On Sunday, 19 October 2014, at night at around 2:00, in Kaunas, on Šėtos street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Twingo and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
