On Saturday, 15 November 2014, at night at 2:10, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 87.80), a Volvo FH12 registered in Kyrgyzstan hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volvo (a citizen of Kyrgyzstan) (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
