On Thursday, 20 November 2014, in the evening at around 21:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vievis–Maišiagala–Nemenčinė national road (kilometre 21.15), a Volvo FM 42R registered in Russia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Volvo (a citizen of Russia) (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
