On Friday, 21 November 2014, in the evening at 20:41, in Molėtų district municipality, Leliūnų village, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 58), a Volvo FH12 registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Volvo (a citizen of Latvia) (35 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
