On Sunday, 23 November 2014, in the evening at 18:56, in Pasvalio district municipality, Raudonpamūšės village, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 50.70), a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Baotian BT49QT-12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. The 45-year-old driver of the Baotian had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
