On Wednesday, 26 November 2014, in the evening at 22:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 117), a Renault Magnum 440.19T registered in Ukraine rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Renault (a citizen of Ukraine) (6 years of driving experience), who was driving fatigued. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
