On Wednesday, 26 November 2014, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Pakruojo district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Pakruojis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 18.66), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Valtra T - 161 h and a Chrysler Voyager. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Valtra (6 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
