On Wednesday, 10 December 2014, in the evening at 20:50, in Vilniaus district municipality, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAZ 544069 registered in Belarus and a Brannans Smide registered in Belarus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the MAZ (a citizen of Belarus) (16 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
