On Friday, 12 December 2014, in the afternoon at 15:09, in Širvintų district municipality, Virvyčių village, on the Musninkai–Čiobiškis–Gelvonai–Vytinė regional road, a Volkswagen Transporter ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (a citizen of Russia) (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
