On Sunday, 14 December 2014, in the evening at 21:30, in Kaunas, on A. Juozapavičiaus pr. near No. 27, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (2 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
