On Wednesday, 17 December 2014, in the evening at 18:19, in Pakruojo district municipality, Lygumų town, on Juknaičių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525, a Wielton PC 16S registered in Poland and a Mercedes-Benz Actros 2544 registered in Poland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
