On Saturday, 20 December 2014, in the morning at 10:32, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 199.05), a Renault Megane Scenic rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Renault (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, there was freezing rain, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
