On Saturday, 20 December 2014, in the evening at 18:40, in Kauno district municipality, Užliedžių village, on Ledos street near No. 17, a Mercedes-Benz CLK 240 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 41-year-old pedestrian, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident and was walking at night without reflectors (light, hi-vis vest). He was drunk (3.71‰ blood alcohol). The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
