On Sunday, 14 December 2014, in the morning at 7:30, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Širvintos–Šešuoliai–Miegučiai regional road (kilometre 22.25), a BMW 318 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
