On Friday, 26 December 2014, at night at 2:04, in Panevėžys, on Senamiesčio street near No. 29, a Mazda Premacy hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 27-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by a 27-year-old pedestrian, who committed sudden emergence from behind a vehicle, tree, etc.. She was drunk. The driver was sober. The 24-year-old driver of the Mazda had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
