On Saturday, 27 December 2014, in the evening at 18:32, in Lazdijų district municipality, Paročkės village, on the Alytus–Seirijai–Lazdijai national road (kilometre 28.60), a BMW X3 2.0 D registered in Poland hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the BMW (35 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
