On Friday, 2 January 2015, in the evening at 19:16, in Šiauliai, on Žemaitės street, at the junction with Vytauto street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Dodge Caravan and a Seat Ibiza. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Dodge, who failed to choose a safe speed.
