On Friday, 9 January 2015, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kauno city municipality, on the Zapyškis–Ežerėlis regional road (kilometre 2.75), an Opel Astra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Opel (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
