On Saturday, 10 January 2015, in the evening at 19:54, in Pagėgių municipality, Grigolaičių village, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 530), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a BMW 530. One person was injured — a 21-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 20-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (1.59‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, a strong wind was blowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
