On Saturday, 17 January 2015, in the morning at 7:50, in Vilnius, on Tūkstantmečio street, at the junction with Laisvės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN TGS and a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the MAN (27 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 80 km/h.
