On Friday, 16 January 2015, in the afternoon at 12:07, in Trakų district municipality, on the Bijūnai I–Drabužninkai II–Karaliūnai–Bičiūnai regional road (kilometre 11.98), a Mitsubishi L 200 rolled over. Three people were injured — the 34-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient), a 22-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient) and a 49-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
