On Wednesday, 21 January 2015, in the afternoon at 13:10, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 45.05), a DAF FT XF105 registered in Estonia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the DAF (a citizen of Estonia) (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
